Iridian Arts, Inc. is a Santa Barbara based non-profit corporation supporting creation and presentation of adventurous music and multi-media performing arts. Iridian Arts elevates community awareness of cutting edge artistic works through concert production, partnering with other cultural organizations, commissioning of new works, and collaboration among the performing arts.

Having received approval as a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt corporation in March of 2005, Iridian Arts is an outgrowth of presentations by the Robin Cox Ensemble and related collaborations with choreographers, video artists, and playwrights. The organization has established a Santa Barbara Presenting Series with local and national artists, and continues to support concert production of the Robin Cox Ensemble and the Santa Barbara contemporary dance company, Nugent Dance.

Iridian Arts presenting for 2007-2008 is made possible in part by the Organizational Development Program using funds provided by the City of Santa Barbara in partnership with the Santa Barbara County Arts Commission. The Common Sense Composers Collective event is also made possible in part by the Aaron Copland Fund for Performing Ensembles and Meet the Composer’s Met Life Creative Connections program. Unsilent NIght is made possible by the additional support of the Santa Barbara Downtown Organization, Santa Barbara Contemporary Arts Forum, and the Santa Barbara Performing Arts League.
